A Spec Ad and homage to Dior Sauvage
Masculine, rough, atmospheric. Those are the word we had in our minds when we started to plan this project. We also want to inherit the abilities of Dior itself – a historical brand with a longstanding history of remarkable fragrances.
With all that in mind, we accomplished to create a symbiosis of the Dior-values: An iconic garage, paired with an experienced mechanic. Fiery hero-shots of the flacon itself. Dimmed lights to establish an atmosphere worthy of the Dior Sauvage.
All scenes are shot on the RED Monstro, paired with cinemactic lenses manufactured by DZO.
That enabled us to capture the scenes in the highest resolution while maintaining a cinematic look.
Commercial shots like these can be adapted to any kind of advertising space. TV, cinema, social media and many more.
A special thank you goes to Louis Häuser, the concepter and first AC, for his hard work and creativity. His guidance and attention to detail helped to bring the film to life and made the shoot run smoothly.
